What is Van remapping in Hampshire?
Vans are the working backbone of Hampshire — the trades that keep the housing stock standing, the kitchens refit, the offices running, the parcels moving. From the Ford Transit Customs of the Southampton trades down to the Sprinter fleets running the M3 / A303 corridor through Basingstoke and Andover, a Stage 1 or economy remap is a real commercial proposition when the cost is set against lower fuel use, fewer gear changes and reduced driver fatigue.
Common vehicles we remap in Hampshire
Boostcore provides mobile van remapping across all of Hampshire. We cover Transit, Transit Custom, Transit Connect, Sprinter, Vito, Crafter, Transporter, Vivaro, Combo, Berlingo, Partner, Dispatch, Proace, NV200, NV300, NV400, Caddy, Kangoo, and the Citan — every mainstream commercial van you’ll see on Hampshire roads. The work is the same as on a car, but we talk to trade customers about the operational side too: turnaround, downtime, monthly invoicing, and a single point of contact for multi-van work.
Book your Van remapping in Hampshire
Every remap starts with a pre-flash health check. If the van has a stored fault, an EGR problem, a clogged DPF, or a suspect sensor, we’ll know before we touch the ECU — and we’ll tell you, in plain English, whether the remap should happen now or after a fix.
Service area: Mobile service across Hampshire and surrounding areas including Southampton, Eastleigh, Totton, Romsey, Fareham, Hedge End, Bursledon, Chandler’s Ford, Winchester, Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Havant, Gosport, Andover, Basingstoke and the New Forest.
Frequently asked questions
What about high-mileage vans?
Stage 1 and economy tunes are well-suited to high-mileage vans, provided the engine is in good health. The pre-flash health check exists exactly to verify this — if the van has 200,000 miles on the clock and a healthy compression test, the tune will perform reliably. If something is off, we will not proceed and will tell you what to address first.
Can you handle multi-van fleets?
Yes — that’s a regular part of our work. We can book a day, work through your fleet, and invoice monthly. Trade rates apply for repeat customers.
Is a remap safe with a heavy load?
Yes. A Stage 1 or economy tune actually helps with loaded driving — more low-end torque means less downshifting, less clutch slip, and a more relaxed drive when the van is fully loaded.
