Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, bookings, products, purchases and website use involving Boostcore Ltd. By booking a service, purchasing a product, using the website or authorising work on a vehicle, the customer agrees to these terms.
1. Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, bookings, products, purchases and website use involving Boostcore Ltd. By booking a service, purchasing a product, using the website or authorising work on a vehicle, the customer agrees to these terms in full.
Please read these terms carefully before making a booking, placing an order or authorising any work. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the website, book a service, purchase a product or authorise work on a vehicle.

- Vehicle diagnostics
- DPF and EGR diagnostics and solution-based services
- Return To Stock ECU reflashing

Where a service cannot be carried out safely or is unavailable, Boostcore will advise the customer and discuss the options.
4. Customer Responsibility Before Booking
By booking a service or authorising work, the customer confirms and warrants that:
- They are the legal owner or registered keeper of the vehicle, or have the owner's express permission to authorise work on the vehicle.
- The vehicle is in a safe, roadworthy and mechanically sound condition suitable for the requested service.
- The vehicle has been properly serviced and maintained in line with manufacturer recommendations.
- The vehicle has no known mechanical, electrical or engine-management faults, unless these have been fully disclosed in writing to Boostcore before work begins.
- Any previous tuning, modifications, warning lights, illuminated dashboard messages or known problems have been disclosed before work begins.
- The customer understands that tuning may increase stress on engine, drivetrain, clutch, turbo, transmission, cooling and emissions components, and that this is an accepted consequence of remapping.
5. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Faults
Remapping a vehicle can reveal or worsen existing mechanical, electrical or engine-management weaknesses. Boostcore Ltd strongly recommends that vehicles are in good mechanical condition before any tuning work is carried out.
Examples of pre-existing or related conditions include, but are not limited to:
- Clutch slip or wear
- Gearbox or transmission issues
- Turbo wear or failure
- Injector faults or imbalance
- Fuel pump weakness or failure
- Cooling system issues or overheating
- DPF, EGR or AdBlue faults
- Boost leaks
- Sensor faults (MAF, MAP, lambda, etc.)
- Poor servicing history
- Battery or electrical faults
- Previous poor-quality or unsupported tuning
- High-mileage wear and tear
Boostcore Ltd is not responsible for faults, failures, damage or costs arising from pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, poor maintenance, wear and tear, previous modifications or previously fitted tuning software.
6. ECU Remapping & Tuning Risk Disclaimer
ECU remapping modifies the way a vehicle's engine management system operates. While Boostcore Ltd aims to provide safe, professional and reliable tuning options, the customer understands and accepts that tuning may increase:
- Power output
- Torque output
- Boost pressure
- Fuelling demand
- Exhaust gas temperatures
- Drivetrain and clutch load
- General mechanical stress on the engine and related components
By proceeding with a remap or tuning service, the customer accepts the inherent risks associated with ECU remapping and performance tuning, and acknowledges that no tuning outcome can be guaranteed to be risk-free.
Boostcore Ltd cannot and does not guarantee:
- Exact power gains or torque figures
- Exact fuel economy improvements
- Compatibility with every vehicle, ECU variant or software version
- That no future mechanical or electrical faults will occur after tuning
- That tuning will not affect the manufacturer's warranty
- That any insurer will accept the modification
7. Power Gains, Fuel Economy & Results
All quoted power, torque and fuel-economy figures are estimates only and are provided for guidance. Actual results depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to:
- The condition of the vehicle
- The specific engine variant and build
- The ECU type and software version
- Fuel quality and octane rating used
- Existing mechanical or electronic modifications
- Vehicle mileage and wear
- Maintenance history
- Driving style, load and conditions
- Environmental conditions (temperature, altitude, etc.)
Fuel-economy improvements are not guaranteed and depend heavily on driving behaviour, vehicle load, traffic conditions and fuel quality. Any economy-related figures discussed or shown on the website are intended as typical examples, not promises of individual results.
8. Insurance, Warranty & Legal Compliance
The customer is solely responsible for:
- Informing their insurance provider of any remap, tuning or modification carried out on the vehicle. Failure to do so may invalidate insurance cover and is a criminal offence under UK road traffic law.
- Checking whether tuning affects the manufacturer's warranty, dealer warranty or any aftermarket warranty.
- Ensuring the vehicle remains legal, roadworthy and compliant for use on public roads.
- Ensuring the vehicle continues to comply with MOT, emissions and road traffic requirements in the UK.
Boostcore Ltd is not responsible for insurance refusal, policy cancellation, warranty refusal, MOT failure, emissions-compliance issues or legal consequences caused by the customer failing to disclose or properly manage modifications on their vehicle.
9. DPF, EGR & Emissions Related Services
Boostcore Ltd provides diagnostic, repair-focused, optimisation and solution-based services for DPF, EGR and emissions-related faults where lawful and appropriate. We do not provide services intended to disable, defeat or bypass emissions-control systems on vehicles used on public roads in the UK.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that their vehicle remains compliant with all UK road use, MOT and emissions requirements. Where any work is carried out on a vehicle intended for off-road, motorsport or closed-circuit use only, this must be declared in writing before work begins.
Boostcore Ltd does not accept liability for customers who use vehicles in a way that breaches UK emissions or road-traffic legislation.
10. Diagnostics
Diagnostic checks identify fault codes, live-data readings and likely issues at the time of testing. Diagnostics do not guarantee that every fault will be found, particularly intermittent faults, hidden mechanical issues or faults that only manifest under specific driving conditions.
Diagnostic fees are payable for the time, equipment and expertise used to carry out the diagnostic check, regardless of whether the customer chooses to proceed with further repair, maintenance or tuning work. Diagnostic time is chargeable even if no fault codes are present or no further work is booked.
11. Booking Deposits
A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure each booking. Deposits are used to reserve the booking slot and cover administrative time, preparation and lost appointment availability.
- All booking deposits are non-refundable once paid.
- Each booking may be rearranged once only, provided the customer gives at least 48 hours' notice before the appointment time.
- If less than 48 hours' notice is given, or the booking has already been rearranged once, the booking cannot be changed again and a new booking with a new £50 deposit may be required.
- Failure to attend an appointment, late arrival, or cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the deposit being retained.
The deposit is deducted from the final invoice for the agreed service. Full payment for the agreed work is due on completion.
12. Appointment Times, Delays & Access
Customers must provide accurate vehicle details (including registration, make, model, engine and any relevant options) and must be available at the agreed appointment time and location.
If Boostcore Ltd cannot access the vehicle, cannot safely complete the work, or the vehicle is not suitable for the requested tuning, the deposit may be retained to cover time, travel and lost appointment availability.
Appointment times are estimates and may be affected by travel conditions, the time required for diagnostics, vehicle issues encountered, software access, ECU unlocking requirements or technical problems. Boostcore Ltd will keep the customer informed of any significant delays.
13. Refusal of Work
Boostcore Ltd reserves the right to refuse or stop work at any point if:
- The vehicle appears unsafe, unroadworthy or unsuitable for the requested service.
- The vehicle has serious mechanical, electrical or engine-management faults.
- The customer has provided incorrect, incomplete or misleading information.
- The vehicle's ECU is unsupported or unsuitable for tuning with available tools.
- The requested work may be unlawful, non-compliant or unsuitable for the customer's stated use.
- Payment has not been made or agreed.
- The customer behaves abusively, threateningly or unreasonably towards Boostcore staff or representatives.
14. ECU Unlocking, Bench Work & Mail-In Services
Some vehicles may require ECU unlocking, bench programming, additional specialist work or mail-in ECU services before tuning can take place. These services may involve extra time, additional cost and additional risk (including, but not limited to, postage, handling and the potential need for additional hardware).
Where possible, Boostcore Ltd will advise the customer of these requirements and any associated costs before proceeding. Once a mail-in service has been started, additional charges may apply.
15. Return To Stock & Returning to Factory Software
Returning a vehicle to factory-standard software depends on the vehicle type, ECU type, access method and the availability of the correct stock software file. Boostcore Ltd cannot guarantee Return To Stock availability for every vehicle.
Where a Return To Stock reflash is requested after a previous remap, the cost of the reflash is chargeable in the same way as a new remap. Return To Stock requests are subject to the same booking and deposit terms as other services.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Boostcore Ltd will not be liable for:
- Pre-existing vehicle faults, wear and tear, or hidden mechanical or electrical defects
- Previous tuning, modifications or third-party work on the vehicle
- Customer misuse, aggressive driving or failure to drive the vehicle in a responsible manner after tuning
- Failure by the customer to maintain the vehicle in line with manufacturer recommendations
- Failure by the customer to inform their insurer or warranty provider of any modification
- Any warranty refusal by a manufacturer, dealer or third party
- Loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, loss of opportunity or any indirect or consequential losses
- Any fault, failure or cost not directly caused by proven negligence on the part of Boostcore Ltd
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under UK consumer law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
17. Customer Use After Tuning
After tuning, the customer is responsible for using the vehicle responsibly and for monitoring the vehicle for any unusual noises, warning lights, smoke, clutch slip, overheating, limp mode, drivability issues or any other abnormal behaviour.
If any such issue occurs, the customer should stop using the vehicle where it is safe to do so and seek advice from Boostcore Ltd as soon as reasonably possible. Continuing to drive a vehicle that is showing abnormal symptoms may worsen any underlying condition and is done at the customer's own risk.
18. Payments
- Payment for services and products must be made as agreed, either before or immediately after the work is completed or the goods are supplied.
- Goods supplied remain the property of Boostcore Ltd until paid for in full.
- Services may be refused, paused or delayed if payment has not been made or agreed in advance.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes raised dishonestly, fraudulently or in bad faith may be challenged, and any associated costs (including reasonable admin and recovery costs) may be passed on to the customer.
19. Online Shop & Product Sales
Boostcore Ltd may sell physical goods, merchandise, accessories, digital items, booking deposits and service products through the website. Product descriptions, images, availability and pricing are provided in good faith and may be updated or changed at any time without prior notice.
Prices displayed on the website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Delivery options, timescales and any associated charges will be shown clearly at checkout before payment is taken.
20. UK Returns Policy for Physical Products
This returns policy applies to physical products purchased through the Boostcore Ltd website in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
For most physical products bought online, customers have a 14-day cancellation period from the day the goods are received, followed by a further 14 days to return the item after notifying Boostcore Ltd of the cancellation.
To exercise the right to cancel, customers must inform Boostcore Ltd by email or in writing within the 14-day period. Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and in their original packaging where possible.
Refunds may be reduced if goods have been handled, used or damaged beyond what is necessary to inspect them (for example, showing signs of use, marks, missing parts or damage to packaging).
Return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty, incorrect or not as described. Original outbound delivery charges (where charged) are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
21. Exceptions to Returns
Some items may not be returnable unless faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose. These include, but are not limited to:
- Custom-made or bespoke products
- Personalised products (for example, items printed or engraved to the customer's specification)
- Special-order items sourced specifically for the customer
- Digital products once accessed or downloaded where the customer has agreed to immediate supply
- Services already started or completed with the customer's agreement
- Booking deposits (see section 11)
- Used, fitted or installed automotive parts, unless proven to be faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose
22. Service Cancellations
Where a customer books a service online, normal 14-day cancellation rights may be affected once the customer requests work to begin on a specific date or within the cancellation period. By requesting an early appointment, the customer confirms they would like the service to begin within the 14-day cancellation window.
The £50 booking deposit remains non-refundable under the booking policy in section 11, regardless of any online cancellation right. Where the service has already been partly or fully performed, the customer may be charged for the work completed and any reasonable costs incurred.
23. Faulty Goods
If a physical product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, customers should contact Boostcore Ltd as soon as possible with details, the order reference and photographs where relevant. Boostcore Ltd will deal with faulty goods in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK consumer law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement or refund. Boostcore Ltd will advise the customer of the next steps once the issue has been reviewed.
24. Website Information & Lookup Tool
Vehicle lookup data, tuning figures, service availability and other website information are provided for general guidance only. Although Boostcore Ltd takes care to keep information accurate and up to date, availability, pricing and tuning options may change without notice.
The vehicle lookup tool covers most popular makes and models and provides estimated tuning options based on available data. Some vehicles shown may no longer be supported, may require additional ECU unlocking, or may need to be completed via a mail-in ECU service before tuning can take place. All figures are estimates, and final availability will be confirmed once Boostcore Ltd has checked the customer's vehicle details.
25. Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, branding, text, images, photographs, videos, graphics and designs are the property of Boostcore Ltd or its licensors and are protected by UK and international intellectual-property laws. They must not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any form without the prior written permission of Boostcore Ltd.
26. Privacy & Data
Customer data will be handled in accordance with the Boostcore Ltd Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Vehicle details, contact details and order details may be used to provide quotes, bookings, diagnostics, services, products and customer support.
For full details on how personal data is collected, stored and used, please refer to the Privacy Policy on this website.
27. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, product or website, please contact Boostcore Ltd in the first instance:

- Phone: +44 7405 563522
Boostcore Ltd will aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and to resolve them fairly, professionally and as quickly as possible.
28. Changes to These Terms
Boostcore Ltd may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law, our services, our products or our business practices. The latest version will always be published on this website, and the “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last revised.
For ongoing bookings and orders, the version of these terms in force at the time the booking or order was placed will generally apply, unless a change is required by law.
29. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms, save that UK consumer law may give consumers the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
30. Final Acceptance Statement
By making a booking, paying a deposit, purchasing a product or authorising work, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
